hey hey, you guys beat me to it...
driving back from hunting today the n3 was full of tourist busses filled with random flags.
was awesome driving down and seeing them wave their french flags at random cars with the sa flags on, with hooting, flashing lights etc.
it was like a road festival for 170km...

Silverlight, the next series is always around the corner whenever a person buys computer parts.

True, but no point buying such an expensive card now when in a few months it will be replaced with something better.

What I mean is, the 5 series has been out for some time, just wait and get the high end 6 series card when it's released and be happy for the next 6 months till the 7 series is out instead of shelling out cash for a 5 series card that will SOON be replaced

driving back from somerset west on N2 today, we got held up by the police who proceeded to start a "escort" driving 70-80 kmph on the freeway with a backlog of cars falling in behind them building up traffic.
Reason for this, a freaking bus (must of been a team going for practise) coming from the airport was driving up ahead. They blocked us all off so the bus went into the bus lane up ahead and all other lanes were empty next to it.

Eventually they let us pass when the bus turned off, I think to go to Athlone stadium. I mean really, that is going a bit overboard. I can get having a escort surrounding the immediate bus, but to close of part of the N2 and all cars trying to get on it was a bit excessive. Oh, not to mention the police helicopter. What a expense!!

Unfortunately the worlds media would go beserk if something happened to that bus. Imagine if some drunk driver piled into it. I would rather they be overly cautious than under cautious.

I'm surprised people haven't made a bigger deal of Mandela's great grandchild's death.

Anyway, been up since 4 with the flu, its amazing what you find yourself doing when you are bored to death. Sat for an hour trying to remember the movie where Dennis Quade and his son communicate through time via a radio and then remembered that a lolt of the story didn't add up so I stopped caring. Same for Butterfly Effect.

swarley its called frequency. i haven't seen it.
ro, no pics worth posting... hunting was hard this year, a lot of the babies came late this season so there are still family groups walking around.
the amount of impala i had to let go was staggering, ditto with warthog.

walked up on giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo (i ***ked myself) and rhino (***ked myself properly).

    np.

Just downloaded an app to calculate everything in connection with your ballistics of the bullet.

Will test it out over the weekend and let you know if it is any good. That is if you do your own reloading

Watched The Goodfellas last night. What an epic movie, and cast. Can't believe I waited so long to watch it...

Also, I got the mother of all chips in my windscreen on Friday. Called up my insurance company and they sorted the claim out then and there. One of the few times I've been properly impressed with service in this country.

haha RO, yeah we reload our own ammo.
the price of ammo these days is shocking.
our rifles are fairly common calibres (.243,.308,.303), but the cost of a box each is slightly more than a new xbox game.
