Buying from Budget

I would like to know if the Prophecy shop supports using your Credit Cards budget facility when u buy?

Coz if it does I have some purchases to make.

Hi Shogun,

Unfortunately, we don't currently support the budget facility. This is a real problem for us too, as many users are looking for this. We have been investigating alternate Credit Card payment gateways that does accept budget facilities, but so far, we cannot find one that we like

There is a way around it though. You make the purchase as strait, and then you phone your bank and ask them to move it to budget. I know they can do this, and it's rather quick.

Unfotunately, this is the only option for this at this moment.

EDIT:One piece of advise - check *before* you make the payment that they can transfer. Some banks have been known in the past to have been difficult about doing this.

May I suggest making a sticky of that since I think it's something which might come up again. Especially this part

You have 2 alternative options in regards to your credit Card and the Budget facility :

1) As mentioned, buy something as straight and request your bank move it to budget for a specified period to pay off

2) Request that your bank make money available from your Budget to your credit card, with a specified period to pay ...

Depends on your banks flexibilty.

Budget facility is the devil... its the reason credit cards are evil!!! :Rofl:

Unless you are sure you can pay it off in 55 days dont do it, up to 24% interest monthly... is nasty. It actually works out cheaper to take out a loan (R10grand?) and pay that off at 10-15% interest... you could actually use any excess money you have left from the loan to pay the loan back :tard:
