    Replacement AM2 socket m/b

    All AM2 motherboards are listed as 'out of stock' in the shop. Would you be able to source any of them if I place an order? Otherwise, anyone know where I can get myself a replacement board cheaply? Needs to support DDR2 and PCIe-x16 Don't want to replace CPU, RAM, etc... thanks

    Unlikely that the shop will be able to get one for you, they've been gone for ages (though I don't work for the shop). I think you're only going to find one of those boards 2nd hand if you're lucky and even that isn't that likely anymore. Try Carbonite.

    You can get an AMD AM2+ mobo very cheaply on those 2nd hand forums. Heck the DDR2 RAM and AMD graphics cards are cheap too.
