    Hey Larch,

The MSI is coming into stock again this week, IIRC.

Here is a list of all the TIs that we can get:

Prophecy.co.za - Computer Hardware, Software, Accessories, Peripherals

We currently do have the MSI Hawk TI in stock over here:
    Prophecy.co.za - MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti Hawk PCI-Express x16 2.0, GDDR5, 1GB, 256-Bit

Shout if you need anything else?

Ok... I have an MSI GTX580 and want to run another in parallel (LSI or whatever it is called) but I am told my MB will throttel the performance. Is this true? I have an EVGA X58 Classified 3 Mobo running some i7 thingy.

Hmm well I don't know at which tech level I should answer this question. I guess the answer is both yes and no. Yes because SLI is inefficient and you don't get anywhere near double the power incase you didn't know that yet. But no because all systems would be equally limited.

So in other words it would be fine for you to get that card.

However it might be a better idea to play the waiting game. nVidia should bring out their new series of cards which should be stronger and provide you with a better power boost. And it's not like the GTX580 is a weak card so I'm sure it could hold you over a little while longer. At the very least another GTX580 should be cheaper down the line. So I'd wait.
    Intel Core2Quad Q9550 (2.83Ghz (stock)), ASUS P5Q, ASUS ENGTX260/HDTP/896M, Transcend JetRam DDR2-800 2x2GB, 2x Seagate Barracuda 500GB, Gigabyte Odin 720W, Gigabyte G-Power 2 Pro CPU cooler,
CoolerMaster Ammo 533, Leadtek Winfast DTV2000H, Cyber Snipa Stinger lazer gaming mouse, Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1 Headset, Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 64bit

    Agree 100% with schumi.

If you could wait another month or three to see what Nvidia does, at the very least, the next 580 you buy would be cheaper than it is now. However, there is nothing inherently wrong with a decision to get another 580. SLI will give you somewhere between 70 and 80% of the second card as extra performance.
