Desperate for a new graphics card

Hi I have been waiting ages to get some money that was owed to me And it finnaly got given tome tonight but my problem is that the graphics card i want is out of stock and has been out of stock for the last week. Prophecy.co.za - Computer Hardware, Software, Accessories, Peripherals
Thing is i am absolutely desperate to get my hands on a good graphics card and i dont want to wait to much longer to get it.
So i would appreciate it if someone could either tell me how long such things are usually out of stock for or even offer an alternative graphics card to buy. I have R3000 for graphics card, 2GB ram and a power supply that will run it and all i want from this computer is to be able to play new games in good graphics.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get that and save a bit of money whilst you're at it. Performance wise they should be identical. And no Club3D is not an inferior brand.

Would a 500 watt power supply be sufficient for that. Graphics card or do I need a bigger 1

That depends on the 500W in question. A quality 500W easy, a crap 500W not so much. Also depends on what processor it's paired with and whether any overclocking is involved.

Well you never told me which 500W you were going for so I can't say for certain everything that you've ordered will work.

I ran a 6850 on my "Coolermaster Extreme Power Plus 460W Power Supply"

No problems. Which isn't the best on the market but better than generic.

Like schumi said, it also depends on the CPU, a older 775 quad core will eat watts and might cause problems...
