Forum Upgrade Issues

Hi guys I ran into one or two "issues" while using the "new forum"

1. Using the insert image button and adding the link to the image uploads it to the thread (a very tiny image) instead of linking it, so I am used to use the image tags.

2. You cannot post more than one video in a single thread before I get the following error: "You have included a total of 9 videos in your message. The maximum number that you may include is 1. Please correct the problem and then continue again. The use of videos is subject to them being enabled by the administrator."

Will post more as I find them.

Ok, with regards to your point number 1, the following applies.

If you keep the box checked, it becomes an attachment, as in post #3 above. If you uncheck the box, it links the file, but keeps it hosted where it is, as in post #2 above. Is that what you wanted to clear up?

I'll see about the limits of the videos. Not sure why that changed.

See the bottom one it goes tiny no matter what the image size don't know if it is a Chrome issue.

It's supposed to be like that. You've got to click on it to make it bigger. It's not supposed to be big if it's an attachment. It works like Gmail's attachment feature. The attachments are linked at the bottom, and you've gotta click on them to see them.

Thanks got it, just a weird way for me when it comes to adding images to a forum not used to the idea.

Have you looked at the issue with only being able to post one video when making a new thread or posting?
