Yeah I saw the MX Performance Mouse on the Logitech website and had second thoughts about the M705 mouse. Can't seem to find it on Prophecy's shop site though... Will have to e-mail Henk and find out if he can source me one if it's not too expensive

I'm currently using the Logitech MX Performance Mouse, its really great! I just plug it in about once every week to two weeks when it goes flat and keep using it all day til its charged. When the battery starts dying I can still use it for about a day. The signal is also very good, use it from across the hall, about 10 meters away and no problem! It goes for about +/- 800 bucks in SA.

Yeah the MX series is REALLY nice, i have the MX Anywhere Mouse which has 2 batteries (AAA I think) and claims to last about 4 months. If you have small hands I would recommend it but since it seems you are on the computer quite a bit maybe the MX Performance Mouse would suite you better. If you find it a bit expensive, see it as an "investment" because it is one of those things you definitely do not want to skimp out on!

Thanks for the feedback!!! Of course, I will buy the Performance mouse - I just have to ask Henk if he can get it for me as I don't see it listed on the shop. I had a discussion with my mom regarding the mouse and estimated price. She says it's a lot but if my LX mouse lasted me this long, then it's a good idea to buy it instead of the cheaper models because reading on the Performance mouse's reviews and people's experience with it, it sounds like a good investment. I do a lot of work online and some time on the forums as well as playing Heroes of Newerth online.

    Subject closed.

I ended up buying the Logitech M705 mouse. I must say I am very pleased with the mouse - wireless is much better than the LX8 and it moves like lightning too. The software that comes with the mouse is awesome - I recently discovered a extra button that I had missed. Should have read that damn manual in the first place :P After downloading and installing SetPoint, I really am enjoying this mouse and the button assignments are so easy...
