    Any idea when more Western Digital MyBook Essential 1000GB USB 2.0 will be arriving ...?

    Probably only once WD manages to get it's production shortage sorted so at least a couple of months still.

    There is no ETA at the moment for that. Also, it won't be NEAR that price when it does come into stock. Here are the current prices:

    Prophecy.co.za - Computer Hardware, Software, Accessories, Peripherals

    Even that LG is underpriced. Many suppliers have opted to stop importing drives until the prices stabilise. So, until then, prices won't be updated, and stock will be low. Many estimate that this will continue until around middle of the year, though there's no guarantees, obviously. My bet is prices will only be back at that level closer to the end of the year.
