I'll get lots of bang for my buck, when I buy it for less than R250 three months after release.

I dunno dude, each new release has really evolved virtually everything in its predecessor. And remember, it's new graphics, new levels, etc. Also remember that Ubisoft is MASSIVE, so they likely have a very large team working on different iterations of AC at the same time. It's a massive brand, and truth is, whether you like it or not, each release has been consistent and well received.
The bottom line with any AC release is it's a massive massive open world that offers so much gameplay you can literally spend months on it. And it's got acclaimed multiplayer as well. I think you get bang for your buck with every single release.
All your tree are belong to me.
A man after my very own heart! I don't think I've payed more than R250 for an AC release since ACII!![]()
All your tree are belong to me.
Hell, even at R400 a single AC game is a steal if you ask me...
All your tree are belong to me.
I don't mind paying R500+ for a 20+ hour experience.
Leaked Assassin’s Creed III artwork reveals the game’s setting » MyGaming News and Reviews
Nothing is true, everything is permitted, and I’ll have fries with that
Looks like internet-based speculation might’ve been onto something this time – following last week’s rumours that Assassin’s Creed III would be set in the American Revolution, leaked artwork from two different sources now looks to confirm all of that.
The first is a promo image obtained by Kotaku from a Best Buy employee, showing what looks like a Native American kitted out in a pimpin’ white version of 18th century military gear, and brandishing a tomahawk and a flintlock pistol with the original American Revolution’s “Betsy Ross” flag in the background. It really couldn’t be much more specific.
The other image, mistakenly published on Game Informer’s website and later yanked, is an, uh, “enhanced” version of Emanual Leutze’s 1851 painting “Washington Crosses the Delaware” (depicting an event from – yes, you guessed it! – the American Revolutionary war), now also featuring the same Native American standing behind Washington and pointing ahead to whatever is on the other side of the river.
Okay, I'm excited.
http://i.joystiq.com/2012/03/01/assa...reed-3-boxart/Tired of the dripping noise of Assassin's Creed 3 leaks, Ubisoft is turning on the faucet and has officially revealed the cover art for Assassin's Creed 3.
Details are still tight on the game, but from leaked images we've gathered some details. The game, obviously, will be set during the time of the American Revolution. Weapons will include a bow, gun and tomahawk, with the hatchet blade carved like the assassin's crest. Also, the protagonist, who wears items of Native American heritage, features a bald eagle on the beak of his cowl. Game Informer has also come out to confess that the game is its April cover story.
Assassin's Creed 3 leaps into stores on October 30.

Super super super ****ing amped. I know it's AC, and of course it'll have its tropes, but this is a period and setting we've NEVER seen in video games before, and that alone has me super excited. **** YES!

Erm. AC3 takes place during the American Revolution. RDR takes place at the end of the American Old West. Couple hundred years' difference there.
^ what he said.
Surely there'll be similarities, but I just jizz my pants thinking at the possibilities of being an Assassin in this setting. SIIIICK!
All your tree are belong to me.

They better not make the new assassin a tool!
