Niemand wil me my speel nie :/
Nou gaan hy met ou omies voor sy rekenaar speel.
Well this has been the most entertaining game in a long time for me, late nights here I come haha. I can see a lot of WoW in the game but this is way betterOh and I see what you guys mean, when I got there to pick up my pre-order he just took one off of the pile, they weren't actually assigned to anyone. Oh well, at least I got mine, that's pretty much what I was doing all weekend

So how about some proper feedback on your experiences in this game ? The trailers look ama-Zing but they usually do that part right.
Beware of your thoughts, because your thoughts become your words. Beware of your words, because your words become your actions.
Beware of your actions because your actions become your habits. Beware of your habits, for they define your character.
And beware of your character, for it becomes your destiny.
Graphics aren't the prettiest in the world but they are pretty decent, character creation is basic but just enough to give you the feel that you have created your own character. Gameplay is actually pretty good, I haven't come across any glitches. Monsters are sometimes tough but the game put the monsters name in a colour so you can determine how hard they are and unlike WoW you actually don't run into creatures that annihilate you. There are so many side quests I didn't know where to start hehe, I think the story is pretty good. Controls are easy to use and the fighting just flows. I am a Mage which is fun :P Money is earned fairly quickly, and items tend to be a bit on the expensive side for the really great ones. Anyone can do Alchemy or Blacksmithing which is pretty awesome, I fix my own things and adapt my own weapons and add enchantment gems as well. It's a really decent game and well worth the money I spent on it. I haven't even done much for the main quest, I have just been side-questing and exploring everything.
4 hours in = awesome game. In some respects better than Skyrim. I love how they have done the skill setup. Also - an excellent tutorial imo.
I am 30 hours in (though admittedly about 3-4 of those was spent double-checking I didn't miss any chests and also salvaging and crafting gear so more like 26 hours of actual progress) and and save for one or two annoyances it feels like this RPG was created specifically for me. I absolutely love it, it has everything I've ever wanted in an RPG and almost none of the stuff I dislike.
It may not actually be a better game than Skyrim when viewed objectively, but there's tons of stuff I don't like in the ES Universe that are still a part of Skyrim and as such I like this game infinitely more than Skyrim though I admit I have yet to get Skyrim.
I was so busy enjoying the game that I completely forgot to come back to this thread to tell you guys about it.
As for the trailers and official gameplay vids that came out along the way I'd say they do an almost 100% accurate job of portraying the game so if they look good to you then the game should too.

It's ES...there's little more I have to know about it that trailers, wikis and player accounts from others haven't already told me. Infinitely better than Oblivion, yet still suffering similar flaws. The only reason I mentioned that I didn't play Skyrim yet is because I don't quite know the extent of the good things it does...does it do enough to stand next to KoA-R or is it just hopelessly behind it? I wouldn't expect you to understand though since it would seem Skyrim is to you what KoA-R is to me.
No way I'm getting Skyrim before I can get it for R200 or less (on PC) I know I won't like it enough to warrant more money...and Bethesda don't deserve it anyways.
I suggest you do the same, then we'll talk (unless you're a WoW nut, then I can understand your lack of awe at KoA-R).

You wouldn't 'expect me to understand' because you make gross assumptions based on thin air. That is all. Carry on then.
All your tree are belong to me.
After two days of playing I gave up on the game. It really is nothing more than a MMO game that turned into a SP game.
Grind against yellow named mobs then move to next area, rinse repeat. It's a ton of K10R quests with a main story that trails along side it.
