    Mass Effect is epic. It's the product of the best parts of Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and more with a protagonist who could be the love-child of Picard, Skywalker, and Starbuck. It's one of the most important pieces of science fiction narrative of our generation. Mass Effect goes so far beyond other fictional universes in ways that you may not have yet realized. It is cosmic in scope and scale. Basically, Mass Effect is the most important science fiction universe of our generation. Here's why.

    Quite a good read. It also highlights some of the subconsious (i.e. I wasn't aware) elements that has made me enjoy the series as much as I do.

    Because the article is worthy of a thread in itself. It's also not solely limited to Mass Effect. In fact, it would probably be better suited in the entertainment section.

    Definitely quite interesting, Mass Effect always reminded me of an extension of Star Control in away, as the stories from the first Mass Effect was very similar to the second SC.

    I know that, but it doesn't invalidate my post. I haven't even upgraded my PC yet.
