Ugh. Going through a dry spell currently. Playing more Borderlands and doing other stuff besides blogging. Sooner or later the bug will bite again.

Which general MMO blogs and MMO news sites do you visit every day for your news fix? I don't mean the specific gaming sites, general ones. Mine are:
MMOCrunch
Massively
Keen and Graev
Van Hemlock
MMORPG
Are we new at this?
Biobreak
and of course:
Hurry up and write something Skurm!

So sorry, you cannot play Diablo 3 right now.

ElderGame
Any chance we can have this stickied? I know it is not a large post but it has some pretty important source links for MMOs in general.

Topic pinned.
Beware of your thoughts, because your thoughts become your words. Beware of your words, because your words become your actions.
Beware of your actions because your actions become your habits. Beware of your habits, for they define your character.
And beware of your character, for it becomes your destiny.
Lovely thanks! Now I can visit all my MMO news sites no matter where I am ;-)

On more blog to add that i'm finding quite amusing to read:
Angry Gamer: http://angrygamer09.wordpress.com

Find myself reading Spinksville more. http://spinksville.wordpress.com/
Removed Hardcore Casual from my faves/rss. That whole childish blog war with Tobold, flaming a luminary and pioneer like Lum... nah. Would be fine if he actually made good points but everything he posts reads like 'game x sucks, dude y's a noob, Darfkail ftw, buy it so I can get royalties'. What a douchenozzle.

Indeededly also reading Harcore Casual less and less, simply because he spends way too much time in that niche little MMO called Darkfall. He seemed to have lost a whole lot of objectivity in favor of a rather overly fanboy Darkfall zealotry. The times he doesn't write about Darkfall he's merely taunting some other blogger for disliking Darkfall or liking WoW too much :0
On a very side note: FeedDemon combined with Google Reader is the shizzle when it comes to reading and subscribing to these things.
Sorry going a bit OT here. Any tips for a noob blogger? Decided i want to blog my gaming experiences, especially mmo's. Going to buy the gf some chocs to check/fix my spelling and grammar.
i think the biggest issue i have is figuring out how to start the post.
/OT

Er, no, there's no 'right' way. Just to keep at it (and i suppose try and keep the spelling and grammar errors down to a minimum), and try and keep it somewhat up to date. The point of a blog is that, as a reader, it should be something you want to check up on almost daily. So post something. Anything. Whatever pops up, no matter how seemingly menial you may think. Doesn't have to be an essay, sometimes a paragraph or two is fine. And do it often. Posting something once every 3 months is a just wasting your and everyone else's time.
Here is a nice website I found while looking for WoW blogs. Sums up all(well most) the blogs for all the different classes.
Enjoy: Gamingfaces
Healing is my game...
Cool stuff thanks. I should maybe get myself a little notepad tho.

I'd say posting a thread in Prophecy or even a lengthy reply is "blog worthy" right there. I mean you can literally copy and paste your STO impressions post (the larger one as to what you didn't like) into your blog and there you go..... I don't think everyone needs to become overly philosophical about the future of MMOs/Gaming to blog about it. Just look at Biobreak's style, half the time he just posts a screenshot with a one liner comment about it (basically like you'd do on this forum) , nothing more. I guess it keeps the blog active.
Aye i was thinking of posting that. Just need to clean it up a bit and add some pictures. people like pictures![]()
And funny pictures! I can recommend images.google.com
