So far I see two South African PVE guilds happening already:

South African Colony | Star Wars: The Old Republic for PVE Empire and Republic's Retribution for PVE Republic.

My suggestion is to keep it in those guilds, I know we have always created a PH guild for new MMOs in the past but they usually fizzle after a month or two as people move on to progression guilds etc. These two looks to be the progression guilds and will take casuals for now.

South african colony isn't ready for deployment. They will need to reform on launch if they don't fix that soon.

At this stage we do not know what server we will be on, as soon as they tell us where Republican Knights will be placed, we will post it here and in other forums so people can join us.

If i see a single "Koevoet ZA" im going to murder somebody...I guess i'll be MIA from the 20th to the 22nd tanks to Biowares no grace period. Even with my Amazon copy being sent to my brother in law in the states...i dont see Amazon being able to ship in less than 2 days.

I read that the boxed version is being shipped from retailers on the 15th, looks like you will be getting your key round about the 17th. Just let your family know to keep an eye out for it and track the parcel via Amazon. I also heard (unconfirmed) a rumour that Amazon will email you the key for your product on the 15th when they ship it, although I don't know how true that can possibly be.

Now the wait for that early access email starts. Going to be pressing send/receive a LOT from Tuesday on. I used my pre-order key on the 24th of August, just over a month after the pre-order went live, I am hoping for an email by the long weekend at least.

I am just hoping that Origin will be emailing me my live key on the same email used to buy the DDE version. Then I am set.

I am so seriously excited, more than I was on the release of CHO, STO and Rift.

Our sales and marketing teams are working closely with retailers in the US and Europe to ensure that copies of Star Wars: The Old Republic will be delivered in time for launch day.

In Europe, game copies will be available at retail starting on December 15, 2011. For those of you in the USA and Canada, game copies will be available at retail starting on December 20, 2011. For those of you who pre-ordered digital editions of the game from Origin.com, you will be emailed your Game Codes starting December 16, 2011.

As soon as you receive your Game Code (AKA ‘product registration code’), be sure to enter it on your account under Code Redemption, because as soon as you enter the code you will receive your digital entitlements in-game (i.e. digital items included with the game edition purchased). Remember, your billing cycle will not start until official game launch, on December 20, 2011 at 12:01am EST.

It seems those who ordered from Amazon US are a bit out of luck.

Played both of the last betas...
My CE is almost on it's way, and I ordered the day after pre-orders opened.

Also just ordered a SE for my wife, and we'll definitely be looking at joining a SA guild...

But if it's on a PvP server or PvE... eish that's a difficult one! Had good times on PvP servers in the past, though the ganking does slow leveling a bit. don't know if I'm in the mood for that.

But I'm really looking forward to getting into a lekker SA guild again!!!

Most likely PvE focused. Some of the guys are from wow progression guilds based on pvp servers.

We've been in 2 SA-WoW guilds. The Skulls and Ripple Effect. Both PvE focussed, though on different server types.
RE was awesome with guild-braais and stuff.
Looking forward to a similar experience, and maybe even catching up with some of those guys that may be under new nicks.

Anyone else have some of the old Ripple Effect or The Skulls members in their SWTOR guilds?
