Problems with Asus ROG Crosshair IV Formula AM3 Motherboard

Hi guys, I bought the (exact description) Asus ROG Crosshair IV Formula AM3 Dual-Channel DDR3 CrossFireX from Prophecy in Januarie this year, hardware I'm using with the motherboard is: 8GB Kingston Hyper-X Blu DDR 3 1600 and an AMD Phenom 2 X4 Quad core 965 Black Edition. For the first 5 to 6 months after the purchase everything worked perfect, but soon after I started having random blue screens about once or twice per week, at first I just ignored them and did deFragmentations and virus scans as I thought this would solve the problem, I even did Windows Updates and I updated the motherboards firmware. Yet the blue screens still appeared about twice per week. After about a month the blue screens started appearing more frequently like twice per day up to a point where my computer started but windows wouldn't load (constant black screen). I then tried to google the situation and only red something about taking out all the RAM chips and gradually testing them one by one. By doing that windows started again, and after testing all 4 of my 2GB RAM chips individually and finding no problems, everything was back to normal for about a month, no blue screens, everything worked fine. But now the blue screens has started again, after happening twice the computer completely shuts down, and fails to load windows again (constant black screen), i then removed all my RAM chips again, still didn't work. After waiting an hour or two the computer just started again.

Does anyone have similar problems or know how to fix this? I have formatted my computer, I have installed all the latest updates and firmware, I have tested all my RAM chips individually, they all work fine. So my suspicion is that the problem lies with the motherboard?

Have you checked your hard drive for bad sectors? You can download HDtune and do a scan to check hat there is no physical damage to your HDD.

This is going to be hard to exchange that board cause of the way to duplicate the problem.

Best would be able to swap the board and see what happens but like I said it is going to be hard to swap cause of the problem.

One thing I can think of is, What PSU you are running?
Might seem like a random question but have seen that PSU's can easily cause PC instability.

What BSOD code does windows give you? that can point you in a direction as well.
