Thumbs up [REVIEW] Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision Black In-Earphones

    Hi all
These are great earbuds and I am gaming with them since my Harmon/Kardon Soundstix fell on the floor and are now in mono.
Since I have actually purchased 3 pairs of these headphones and lost several, I think you know where this is going.

Very good. Nice base and comfy with a good pricetag and better sound quality than the SkullCandy range. Same price as the SkullCandy versions which I have owned and lost too.

    Sound rating: 8/10
    Feel: 10/10 (soft quality rubber)
    Value:9/10
Complaints? Doesn't come with a girlfriend attachment but I hear those are really expensive.

Not looking like a rejected pumpkin from Halloween with Skullcandy earbuds coming out from your head? Priceless.

I have the CX 250's, also great sound quality, really comfortable and good quality.

My only gripe is the noise produced when the cable/cord scratches against my shirt. So if the buds are used while working or lying on bed, they are excellent, but if used while doing physical excercise, they aren't very good.

Is this the case with the CX 300-II's too?

To some degree yes but it isn't bad and I don't use them for running.

I bought myself a pair a few days ago, I haven't tried them out yet but they fit nicely in the ear which matters to me.

I can verify that if the cable from the split catches against anything, there is a noise. Below the spilt to the adapter, there is no noise. Sound is pretty good, these are my first pair of audio earplugs and I'm impressed. The noise produced by the cable(as discribed by Neptune) is annoying though.

I have started using mine for gaming as I dropped my speaker system on the floor and made it mono.
I now want a decent sound card as onboard is OKish. I must say they have very accurate and clear sound quality.

They are good value for money here but import mine and they are much cheaper.

I can say that these are very good at keeping the sound out, really good bass and treble.
