My Verdict: This is a thorougly lovely set of speakers for someone who doesn't want any bells and whistles. This sound system gives out a good bass - the subwoofer box has a bass control that one can use to control the amount of bass coming out of the speakers. The "pyramid-style" volume control is easy to use - rotates to increase or decrease the volume with a red little light inside to indicate it's on. Once you rotate to decrease the volume to the point where it clicks, the light goes off to indicate you have switched off the speakers.
