When the rabble protest and go beserk, we hear of the autonomy of the state, the fact that this is not a democracy but an autocracy et cet-tah-rah! et cet-tah-rah!

Yet one person posts a modicum of realizm, (with praise -- essentially a word of warning, nothing more) and suddenly it could be enough to sap the creative and intellectual motivation of the entire project! oh wailey wailey!

Thank goodness the entire world isn't such affected by cynicism, otherwise we would have ended in the streets of Athens...

I suppose it is one of those things, use it; don't lose it.

Though the attempt to offer a local podcast is laudable, it is a rather regrettable oversight on your parts not to offer any coverage of the market-leading platform (namely, the Nintendo Wii) in your discussions. I do trust that this failing will be corrected in the next edition otherwise I for one will not be listenting to any further shows .

As a matter of fact, we recorded the second podcast and will be releasing it soon, and there's nothing remotely Wii related in there. While I own one myself (so I'm not baised against it out of hand) it quite honestly did not occur to me to include anything, since the Wii front has been (and any reasonable person would propably agree to this) very quiet of late. There's not much to report on.

That said, I'll try and find something interesting for the next one. It may be challenging, though. The Conduit, which may have been a talking point, has been relegated to 'so did you see The Conduit failed miserably in sales?'

I know, just add a news snippet about the massive amount of profit DROP Nintendo is experiencing right now...that'll seal the deal

Actually there is something to talk about what about the upcoming team ninja metroid prime game interesting mix if you ask me.

Wii topics would probably be nice, I guess, but I reckon this podcast is specifically geared to the local context as opposed to worldwide, and locally I think gearing the 'cast to the 13 hardcore Nintendo fans countrywide would probably be a bad move. Prophecy's community, specifically, is very Xbox, PC and MMO driven. That's who the 'cast's commentators are, that's who our audience primarily is. Apologies if that upsets any Nintendo fans, but thems thar apples. Maybe we'll work some commentary on the other platforms in as time goes by, but it really depends on how those platforms picks up here amongst the Prophecy/SA crowd.
