Yeah I agree with vulk on this one. Great podcast.
What are the chances of "indexing" the clip? This one in 50mins long and there are topics here and there that people would like to skip without searching with the slider bar.
Awesome stuff though.

We'll probably try accomodate both styles in future, a 'chatty unstructured' bit and a a couple interviews before or after or in between.
Of course, that's if i can drag myself out of this current 'can't pronounce R' funk. I sound like Sylvester.

To be honest, creating chapters would be a great addition, but as the editor of this enterprise, I'll confess I have NO idea on how to achieve that.
As to the way it's presented: I am in two minds. I enjoy bantering away with more than one person at a time, but I can't deny that this week's approach gives the whole podcast more structure, improves the audio quality (mainly due to bandwidth) and nearly halves the time I need to edit it.
Something I will mull on. Thanks for the critique, Vulk.

Yeah, good podcast. Although i too prefer a less structured, chatty podcast, this approach worked quite well considering the time/location/bandwidth constraints.

Nice , enjoyed the podcast, quality felt quite good this time.
Just something to ponder regarding the format and having unprepared discussions vs. interview kinda stuff.
The Endgadget podcast guys started doing this about 2-3 weeks ago, not sure who listen to them. Anyhow what they do is kind of recording+streaming their podcast "live" using UStream (http://www.ustream.tv/). So basically everyone that -is- around when the podcast is being made can give inputs via a text-channel [IRC kinda thing [so it's not voices all trying to talk] ]. Like i know the Endgadget guys can now literally ask the "audience" if they actually want to hear them rant about Windows 7 or whatnot. At the end they still have the regular podcast for download as always, except there is a bit of "live" thrown in..like a radio station with callers
.
Obviously Endgadget is USA, lots of the bandwidth and all, but i think it's very very cool route podcasts are taking.
I don't know if you guys record and then edit it, and maybe re-record stuff , but it does generally sound kinda impromptu in the sense that you know what topics you're going to cover, but you haven't rehearsed what everyone is going to say...and it does sound like it's "live" anyway
Of course this is not done as the "main" thing [audience input via text channel] , but sounds like a good thing to do if the topics or people to interview are disappearing, simply to fill up a few things.
