Hi guys need info on how to claim the warranty/rma the card.
Firstly let me explain what is happening. Occasionally when running a 3d application the system will totally bluescreen, it then gives the error message that the display driver has failed to recover and refers to nvlddmkm.sys. Once this happens once the system will struggle to boot and crash even when just booting into windows. It will also on occasion run for hours without this error occuring.
I have had the system in for testing and it was concluded that its the gpu. Another ati card was tested in the system and there were no problems. Testing was done by computique here in pretoria.
The card should have a 10 year warranty since it was registered within 30 days.

What are my opitions will you guys warranty it if its causing issues in just 3d apps?? Also what do you need to warranty it?
Kind regards
Stefan

Thanx for the reply Jude.
Unfortuantly this specific one wasn't bought at prophecy. I did contact the retailer but according to them its only a local warranty for one year and then for the other 9 years I have to go directly via evga. Is this the case? Do I need to go through evga or can I go through you guys??
If I need to send the card to evga europe it may not be worth it with the shipping costs involved.
Hi Stefan
I have sent an enquiry on the serial number to our supplier, if the card was brought from us then it most definately does not have a 1 year warranty at all,
Will PM you tomorrow when I have more details for you
Have a good evening![]()

All eVGA cards at the very least do have a 2 year warranty, the higher end cards if registered within the 30 days do then extend to a 10 year warranty, if the card is in its 2 year warranty period and is found to be faulty we will arrange a swapout gladly, if the card is in its extended warranty period already (year 3-10) then we need to send the card back to eVGA and wait for them to send us the swapout![]()
Wasn't there a former policy with just 1 year which this card would fall under though?

No Sir, Even my most entry level card comes with a 2 year warranty![]()
Hi Stefan, I have sent you a PM![]()
Jude and Foxcomp gave me great service and fully tested the card. Unfortuantly the card turned out to be fully functional. So not really sure what the issue is. But I can highly recommend using foxcomp, excellent service.
