How matched are these babies and is it possible to find a single 2GB stick?
Reason I ask is that I'm upgrading from P55 to X58 pretty soon and would prefer not to have to buy and sell to sort my ram out.
Currently have 2x2GB 2000 CL9

Hi Juggy
Thanks for the query, at the moment we only have the 4gb and 6gb paired kits from the supplier (ie 2 x 2gb or 3 x 2gb chips)
You are able to mix chips from different kits so long as the timings are the same, but at the moment im afraid I dont have just a loose 2gb chip
Let me know if i can be any further assistance.
Thanks
Jude

Maybe convince some one thats going to go the P55 route to buy a triple channel kit and you compensate them for the third stick?

Morning Juggy
we dont bring in the single chips at all unfortunately, we normally only sell the kits for boards and the guys buy the relevant 4GB/6GB kit,
Perhaps try moving your kit on the classifieds and then getting a kit with that "new ram" smell

I've had the current kit for about 6 weeks or so. It hasn't even warmed up yet
