Hi
I was just wondering if some one from Rectron can confirm that it could take almost 3 months to get a replacement screen for a Samsung nc10.

Hi.
It doesnt happpen very often, but depending on stock availability from Samsung, repairs can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a few months yes.
On the NC10 it is very possible yes as Samsung no longer manufactures this model. The parts are thus not readily available
Hi
Thanks for the update was just making sure its not the people who are giving it in for repairs that are not yanking my chain.
Why have they stopped production on these netbooks?
Thanks FS.

The notebook is End Of Life and has been replaced by a new model. Every year or so a new model is released and the previous one is discontinued. The quicker new technology becomes available, the quicker the current model will be replaced by a new version
