currently playing wow but thinking of giving rift a try.

what class/soul best for solo and lvling?

Clerics are pretty solid levelers i believe.

I fully agree with that! Not only that but you can get into group easily all through your career, as a healer and a tank. Some choose the melee route for levelling, that is Shaman/Druid/Justiciar. Some choose the caster route: Inquisitor/Sentinel.

The only class/soul that I have found comes close is the Necro/Warlock Mage combo.

Humility and Impertinence have moved on to the Fabled. I am hoping for a lot more Tier 2 dungeons there. So far it is not looking good at all. The guild is heavily focussed on running Rift raids. While these are nice and quick, the only rewards are essences. I see many of the guild doing these raids with Tier 1 equipment. I personally am looking for more dungeon running.

I try and organise tier 2 runs when there over 20 level 50s in the guild and get nothing or a small amount of interest. I am hoping it will improve. Kap and Zowi have gone to a guild called Legion, they tell me that they run Tier 2 dungeons often with the guild. Maybe my timing is just a little off.

Ill stick with it for a while longer to see if I cannot get more T2 going.

I am done with Rift for now. Great game, lasted me almost 6 months, a record for me.

What happened to the guild? Did i get somehow get kicked out? Logged in this morning with that free "check out what has changed" gametime they are running until next week and i'm without a guild.

If the guild did collapse you are welcome to sign up to join the guild I am now in. We are a casual social raiding guild.
