I like the fact that you can add sockets now - makes the gems worth collecting.

Gems shouldnt be what we hunt tho , we should be hunting runes to make runewords and hopefully they add the functionality for putting a runeword in a socketed unique item... that wouls be UBER!

Gems should be used in the upgrade process of items and runes etc if you ask me, same as D2 in a way I guess...

Just watched the clip now too. OMG that looks uber wicked!!! Crafting items from a shop! Now thats a brilliant idea!

Hopefully Blizzard sort out the SC2 problem with the resolution. Hate the fact that you can´t zoom out and use a resolution bigger than the standard.

I thought that was done on purpose to not give anyone advantage in MP games?

Nope. Still a while away. Best estimate seems to be 2012 or later for now. They still have to show the 5th class which may or may not happen at Blizzcon later this year.

hopefully a proper ranged fighter. however, the monk looks AWESOME!!

Agreed Runefire. It would almost have to be a ranged physical class as all the other bases are covered. Monk and Barbarian are melee fighters, two magic type classes also out, only basic type left out is a ranged physical character of sorts. Most people seem to think its going to be something vanilla but considering that they have saved it for last I am thinking they want to do something very different with the class. I'm hopeful that it will be something refreshingly different, and hence it was kept for last.

Not to mention Amazon as a bowazon was EXTREMELY weak even with a BOTD Bow or WF... As a javazon she was decent but need a Griffs + COH + SOJ + Eth Titans + many more 1337 items :P

Overall I would like to see something fresh and know they wont only surprise us, they will make it damn brilliant

Except that most graphics cards nowadays can do at least 1680x1050 with decent frame rates(30fps in rts/rpg games). Why anyone wants to play at 1024x768 is beyond me.
